I have officially reached the point where I can not afford gas anymore.  I'm on a very limited budget and I do not see myself coming into money anytime soon - I will actually blog about my job and more info later...


Driving is rather bloody pointless anyways about now.  

Late last night i felt rather usless to the world sitting in my house and didn't have the time to wait in the hour long line for gas to go anywhere, let alone afford it, so i went walking.  There are more and more cars just sitting in the road.

I don't even mean the side of the road...people are simply running till on empty and just giving up.  Not bothering.

My goal for the day, may be simple, but I feel it may be harder than you would think: find a bike.


I know the local stores (the few that remain open..most mom and pop shops are closed at this point, sadly) are pretty much out of bikes, skates, etc I've heard.  We shall see.

Maybe I can trade someone a pointless automobile for a bike! Oi, lol.

I figured it was time to get a livejournal since everyone seems to have one...I'm also on various other blogging sites.  Perhaps we've met?

This will be that standard post where I introduce myself I suppose...

My name is Gwen McGinnis - could I sound any more irish? If only you knew my middle name.

I was born and raised in Ireland, brought here to the Americas when I was 7.  I am currently 25.

I live on the west coast of Florida right now and things just aren't right.  Anywhere I guess now.  I also just happen to have a feeling they are going to be getting much much worse in the next few months.

I figured documenting this will help anyone in the future...and help save myself from insanity.
